WHAT IS IT?  -  WHO IS IT? -  WHY DO WE HAVE IT?

Last fall, Saint John the Baptist Catholic School began a new venture in marketing our school.  We are working together to create a new sense of ownership, one based on the positive.  The key component in our slogan is “I.”  Everyone is responsible for cultivating and nurturing a positive attitude and environment.  We are grateful for this chance to come together and spread the Good News in Education at Saint John the Baptist School.  Everyone is encouraged to make the most of every opportunity to share kind words that help build the school climate.  The voices of 312 students and their families are powerful.  Let us keep one another focused, encouraged, and supported.  Together we can demonstrate the Positive Reasons I Decide Everyday.

Eagle Pride has been meeting on a monthly basis since its inception in November, these meetings are an opportunity to hear the wonderful things happening at Saint John the Baptist School.

The November meeting brought together faculty and the various board members of Saint John the Baptist parish community.  School Board, Parish Council, YAC, Arts and Enrichment, HASA all had representatives present.  Ideas for marketing our school were generated.

 The December meeting brought together school families and faculty.  The individual floor representatives, Mrs. Laura Strum, Ms. Osterholt, and Mrs. Susan Henry, and Ms. Didier representing the specials curriculum teachers were present.  Mrs. Sandor provided a state of the school address.
