Ushers and Greeters

"Do not neglect to show hospitality, for by that means some have
entertained angels without knowing it."

(Hebrews 13:1,2)

Ministers of hospitality set the tone of welcome and help to create a sense that "somthing important is happening" as the parish community gathers for worship. Greeters and Ushers' primary task is to honor the dignity of each member of the parish community and encourage a sense of belonging.

Everyone over the age of 18 is eligible to become a Greeter or Usher.

Responsibilities:
Smile, greet those gathering for worship, welcome newcomers, help in coordinating seating arrangements, collect tithes and gifts, distribute bulletins, and provide direction during the Eucharist. Ushers and greeters must arrive 20 minutes before each Mass and dress appropriately.

Anyone interested in considering this ministry is encouraged to contact the Parish Office.
