About Our School
St. John the Baptist School offers a complete curriculum including art, music, physical education, computer classes and foreign languages with the emphasis on high academic standards, spiritual growth and the individual needs of each child.
Offering a neighborhood school atmosphere, our student body averages approximately 280 students from pre-school through 8th grade with class sizes averaging 20 children. We offer extensive extracurricular programs including sports, piano lessons, after school enrichment classes, student government, and a student-run newspaper and yearbook to mention only a few.
Mission Statement
Saint John the Baptist Catholic School will provide a standards-based curriculum rooted in Catholic values so that students can become successful contributors to their church, family and society.
Goal
All students will increase writing skills accross the curriculum in order to clearly express themselves to a variety of audiences.

Before and After School Care
Before school (7am - 7:50am) available at no charge.
After school (3pm - 5:30pm) available for a charge of $5.00 per student per day
School Office Hours -- 7:30 am thru 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Drop off/Pick up
For all students being dropped off or picked up from school, there are two pre-arranged locations: school parking lot off of Fairfield, and the culd-de-sac off of Arlington. Parents who wish to drive their students must notify the school of their choice in order to have students ready. 
Dress Code
Students are expected to wear uniforms. For more details, please refer to the school handbook or click on the UNIFORM link provided below.
